Earlier this year, Martin India attended the Techno Galaxy Exhibition. The exhibition was organized by NTPC Limited along with International O & M Conference Indian Power Station - 2015, to showcase various new developments taking place in the power sector.
NTPC is India’s largest power utility with an installed capacity of 43,143 MW and is featured as a top ten listed Indian company, in terms of profit after tax, and is majorly involved in powering India’s growth.
This event offered a useful platform for interaction among the service providers, technology developers and the potential users of the latest products, technology and services in the area of power generation.
Martin India's Managing Director Bill Shukla presented a technical paper on Conveoyr Belt Operations and Maintenance to senior officials while Kalpesh Vora, Martin India Regional Manager West, presented on Martin’s capabilities in dust management and passive dust control.
NTPC has locations throughout India with 17 operational coal based thermal plants generating a total of 33,015 MW. An additional 13 coal based plants to generate 17,530 MW are under construction.
